SEMICOUTURE was born from a project by Erika Cavallini who decides to add a new idea to her collection starting from her origins
- as she clearly suggests her name - and more precisely from the debut brand of 2009.
It is no coincidence that the designer has decided to start again concretely from the “No.1 garment”, the first dress designed now seven years ago: the real beginning of the history of Semicouture.
The name is fascinating in itself, stolen from the mannequins for intermediate rehearsal, timidly far from the “whole” couture, viewed with great respect.
A name in some way already procedural, which evokes garments that are not completely finished, full of poetic imperfections.
